As an adult this book is a comedy, getting to read about the dramas of an 11 year old is completely hilarious and i promise it will make you feel so relaxed realizing how everything feels like the end of the world at that age.

Ma ei ole suur lasteraamatute fänn, eriti selliste, mis on siuksed... lihtsad ja huumorile rõhuvad, aga Lottie Brooks võlus mind esimese raamatuga koheselt ja siin lähevad asjad veel paremaks. Verder veel andere problemen, zoals broertjes, behas opvullen (arme meid), long distance met je beste vriendin praten, huiswerk, leuke jongens (en wil je echt voor die populaire gast gaan of toch voor die andere nog leukere en lieve jongen). Ik heb vaak lekker gelachen en ik vond het formaat (dagboek + meer) erg leuk gedaan.The first book in the hilarious new series for children by the best-selling creator of Hurrah for Gin . WOW! Just WOW! This book was INREDIBLE! These are probably the best books I have ever read! They were extremely dramatic! OMG ik heb wederom genoten van Lottie en haar avonturen. (en ja herinner me er aan dat ik echt minder OMG moet zeggen!) Written in the form of a diary, Lottie’s musings show how awkwardness is essentially a learning experience and almost no one gets through their teenage years without at least a few mortifying moments. Het verhaal leest als een trein, ik denk net zoals de gedachten van Lottie gaan. Lekker chaotisch en van de hak op de tak. Met veel humor en zelfspot vlieg je door het verhaal waarin we genieten van haar familie, crushes en BFF’s. De teksten hebben verschillende lettertypes en worden afgewisseld met leuke, eenvoudige illustraties. (de kleren moet je er zelf maar bij denken, want ik heb geen zin om die te tekenen- ik heb nog meer te doen, weet je wel)
