Concrete must be clean, dry and free from any surface laitance (a weak dusty layer on new concrete) and any other surface contaminants such as oils, grease, dirt etc. When used outdoors on top of pre-painted surfaces: If the old paint is not UV-resistant, the use of Multi-surface PU Heavy-Duty Varnish is not recommended. It withstands knocks, scuffs and spills and is suitable for interior wood, veneer, cork and chipboard. Used like this, with several thin coats, lightly rubbed down between coats, instead of one or two thick coats this varnish produces a good durable finnish.

To get the best results, ensure surface to be varnished are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry) before testing.Its premium polyurethane formulation provides an extremely tough and durable matt finish for interior use.

The inclusion of combined polymer chemistry gives a tough, hard wearing finish, resistance to stains and spills, an easy to clean surface. Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats. For best results use a good quality, synthetic bristle brush in a full flowing coat, working well into joints and ends.
