We never find out why Sori seemed to rush over to Jaewoo everytime he came in the room, except for the fact that it was helpful to the writer to put tension in between her and Jenny. A samozřejmě své místo si jistě najde i v knihovnách fanoušků K-POPu či korejské kultury obecně, myslím, že už jen kvůli nim je skvělé, že u nás tahle kniha vyšla. Simply, because loving it is not the right description! I FELL HEADFIRST AND NEVER RECOVERED 😭🫶🏻😍 One of the best things about this one was the engrossing story and the standout characters. Besides Jenny and Jaewoo, I loved reading about Jenny’s new friends and Jaewoo’s bandmates. There’s mystery, drama, even a little adventure, and of course a lot of romance. The only thing that was a miss for me was the writing. While it was descriptive, it was also straightforward. It more often told the reader what was happening instead of showing them through action and dialogue. That led to me feeling distant from the characters, so reading this one was more like watching a (great!) movie on a faraway screen than being immersed in the heart of the story. The Bottom Line: 4.5/5 Brookie Stars When she arrives at the school, she unexpectedly runs into Jaewoo who turns out to be the most popular idol in Korea’s most popular boy band, XOXO. You can think of the plotline as True Beauty meets Dream High plus any cheesy and fun pop-star Wattpad story. I mean that quote!!! It’s every k-pop group that has a fandom! There will always be ships no matter if it’s among the members in the group or with members of other groups. XD And speaking of the k-pop bands themselves. The representation of XOXO as a k-pop group was more than just accurate too! The way the band members cared about and supported each other was so heart-warming and relatable. Everyone who’s a fan of a k-pop group will know that the members are basically family and that they spend a lot of time together. Most of the times even their youth because they become trainees when they are still very young and the other band members kind of compensate for their real family. So by the end of their trainee days and when they have their debut they are actually already a found family that gives each other strength. =)

jaewoo and Jenny meet coincidentally and spend the way together only for Jaewoo to disappear for the next couple of months without any word. That is, until Jenny gets admitted into a prestigious performance arts school and finds out that jaewoo goes there too. And he’s in a very famous k-pop group. This book is an Axie Oh classic: endearing characters, a swoon-worthy romance, and with addictive quality only she knows how to write. I mean, what more do you want from a second chance romance set in Seoul? It is a beautiful, captivating story that will leave you yearning for more when reading the undeniable chemistry between the protagonists. It might have taken me a good year to actually get to this book, but here I am and I'm so damn ready to jump into this, you have no idea!!! I'm going to live all my k-pop dreams while I read this. *lol* And now excuse me while I melt! <3 K-pop helps a cellist develop musically and emotionally in this novel filled with humor and theatrics.An easy 5 star read ⭐️ Even before reading this book, I had a feeling I’d already love it. The first book XOXO was such a fluffy sweet story and I loved meeting the enigmatic chic roommate, Sori. After reading ASAP, Sori is officially my favorite character 🥹 I LOVE the dynamic between the two leads, and dare I say almost like as much as Jenny and Jaewoo. While the first one was a "star-crossed lovers"-esq type of story, this second chance romance had me biting my nails and wishing for more, always more. And I'm just saying, there are still two more members of XOXO and I see a very possible friends-to-lovers with one of them so Axie Oh... *wink wink* Leí XOXO en, fácilmente, la mejor etapa de mi vida. Recuerdo vividamente como me sentía y la felicidad que llenaba mi cuerpo, por lo que es imposible el no asociar un recuerdo muy bonito a ese libro, cuando literal lo leí en mi peak.
