I've been producing my range of calendars for seventeen years and they've proved enduringly popular. Most importantly, the calendar was truly top quality-- wonderful images of the Lake District and finely printed. In 1974, Alfred and Betty Wainwright joined the group, and it was largely though their efforts, with the proceeds of sales of the Pictorial Guides and other books being donated to the Charity, that the current site, Kapellan was purchased in 1984. It has again been published by Cardtoons Ltd and this year features a wonderful view of the Langdale Pikes from Blea Tarn on the front cover. Lake District Calendar 2023 edition contains 12 new Lake District Landscape Photographs from around the Lakes. A flyer will be included in the Autumn edition of Footsteps for members who do not wish to use these options. It is also a practical calendar with plenty of space to mark important dates on the A4 calendar page for each month.Having already bought one of James' beautiful Lakeland photo books, I look forward to more of his publications in the coming years. The pictures are exceptional and , given we can’t get to see the real thing for some while , all the more appreciated.
